I don't care anymore. I just don't care. every retailer is going to rip off stupid people. I'm pretty sure I get ripped off all the time by things I don't borderline-obsess over. I'll still tell people this is dumb, to be sure, but let's face it: not everyone has a techie friend or family member to do this shit for them, and they probably can't be arsed to do the work themselves. It's just not worth fighting anymore.

@deanbmmv: Well, we still have a lot of movies without humans, though the characters are so anthropomorphized that we don't really see a difference.

The story of apartheid could be told from the aliens point of view, and the humans as secondary characters. I just wanted the focus NOT on humans for once.

@TonX: Every game I have played on both systems have stacked. Viva Pinata, Grand theft Auto and some others. Pc games usually have (PC) by them so are completely seperate from the 360 version.

@adinnieken: Re your defence of MS pricing on the Wifi adaptor and the HD for the 360, you're on crack. No 'prep costs' add that many dollars to the cost of a harddrive beyond maybe $1-2 in the amounts that they ship them. If anything they are paying extra to get a capacity of drive which isn't really sold anymore because its too small!

Also, the cost of licensing a wireless chipset from people like Marvell and Foxconn which are really cheap as chips these days (pun intended) does not make a wireless adaptor cost $99. Its pure profit for MS and that's all it is, so stop defending them.

@Nezacant: Yeah, I love Itagaki, but I'd agree with that. It's possible he had the same realization as after 4 came out, he said he probably won't do another DOA himself as he felt like he had put in all he had to offer the fighting game genre at the time with 4. Assuming they would have done another with him around, perhaps he would have left it to Hayashi to head up anyway.

It would make sense for Activision to move them on and let someone else make MW3. It's going to sell no matter what and most people playing it wouldn't know who IW were if they were in their office playing the game.

Why not let them create another great franchise.
